Senior Manager
to serve as a catalyst for continued expansion as a member of our nationally distributed team. This position will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity or possibly remote for the right resource, with travel for specific projects as needed.As a Senior Manager, you will:Lead a team of professionals to deliver consulting services to multiple client relationships, navigating improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.Participate in all stages of various consulting engagements, providing assistance with planning, field work, engagement wrap up and deliverable composition.Identify client needs and foster strong relationships through business development efforts.Develop team members through constructive and actionable feedback.Manage project resources, budgets, billing and collections.Prepare and/or present thought leadership through complex written and verbal materials.Your passion for excellent client service will be demonstrated through diligent assessment of the “current state” of our client’s Corporate Accounting and Finance departments to help transition to their desired “future state,” which may include digitizing or automating accounting workflows, optimizing processes, and providing specific and custom solutions to improve outputs.What you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in Accounting and active CPA license (strongly preferred).Seven (7) or more years of experience within a public accounting firm and/or industry environment performing audit, accounting or consulting services.Demonstrated experience with business development and expansion of services within existing or new clientele.Experience in an environment with SAP, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Yardi or Quickbooks.Ability to lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities.Experience conducting process mapping and analysis to identify areas for improvement and streamline workflows.Strong organizational skills demonstrated through management of multiple, concurrently running initiatives.Robust written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on details and accuracy.Travel as needed for firm meetings and client site visits up to 25%.What we offer you:A collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional development.Competitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeing.Flexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work.Cherry Bekaert provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other legally protected basis, in accordance with applicable law.This role is expected to accept applications for at least five calendar days.Candidates must demonstrate they are eligible to work in the United States.
