Crossroads is a leading addiction treatment provider of outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT). We treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) using medications such as methadone and suboxone/buprenorphine. We pride ourselves in supporting our patients’ medical and personal recoveries from substance use disorder. Starting our fight against the opioid addiction crisis in 2005, Crossroads has remained physician-led and patient-focused as we’ve grown to 100+ clinics across nine states.Day in the Life of a Medical Laboratory Technologist
Receives specimens and performs specimen accessioning, checking specimen adequacy per requirements.Prepares reagents and organizes supplies as necessary.Performs pre-analytic checks and maintenance as necessary or assigned, recording appropriate records.If requested, assists in training employees (laboratory or client) if a new procedure or specimen requirement change is added to the lab test menu.Performs all testing for which there is validation of performance and appropriate skill level.Performs all quality control testing, verifying and recording results.Maintains all required written records, including records of action taken as necessary.Enters results as appropriate for practice.Stores all reagents and supplies; organizes the work area as necessary.Performs all necessary and assigned inventory duties.Education and/or Experience:
Associate degree and at least 2-3 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting.Current MLT ASCP certificate, or equivalent, preferred.Benefits Package:
