Lead Software Engineer (Backend Java)

We are looking for a Backend Lead Software Engineer to join our team. This position reports to a Technical Manager. Define architecture of software solution.Implement software for specifications of high complexity for limited scale systems, or medium to high complexity for large-scale systems.Respond to direct or indirect customer inquiries regarding function and design and attend customer meetings.Write application technical documentation.Participate as a team member on various engineering projects and may lead small projects.Product You Will Be DevelopingThe Vega Discover project is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities with more directed and personalized interactions.About the TeamThe team has been together for about 4 years with highly skilled engineers, based in the USA and Europe. The project assignment will be working on the Vega Discover for our Engineering and Project Stakeholders.
