Laboratory Technicians will help process DNA Prep orders, perform QC workflows, and package orders for shipment to customers.What You’ll DoRestock lab suppliesAbility to lift 35 poundsReaching, lifting, bendingPrepare and package ordersFollow SOPs accurately and preciselyMaintain the cleanliness of work areaHandle chemical reagents and glasswareAbility to read small font on sample tubesReceive and sort incoming orders using established workflowsIndependently operate laboratory equipment including but not limited to pipettes, gel electrophoresis equipment including gel imager, centrifuges, autoclaves, shakers, and spectrophotometersExtended periods of time standing or sitting, operating lab computers and equipment while wearing a lab coat, safety glasses, and glovesEmployee will be working in an area with hazardous chemicalsEmployee may have to use hand tools to adjust settings on instruments as neededWhat You Will BringHS Diploma requiredStrong attention to detailA.S.
