are currently recruiting for a Plumbing Engineer for a growing firm based in the Midlands. This is a permanent field-based role.
Plumbing Engineer - The Role:The Plumbing Engineer will work alongside the installation team across the UK and Ireland, assisting with kitchen strip-out and re-fits within the hospitality industry. Works will be based at various locations within the UK & Ireland, and extensive travel will be required. Due to the nature of the work, the engineer may need to stay away from home during the week. This family-run firm offers great progression potential.
Works van, fuel/hotel card, company phone, iPad, uniform, and cordless kit will be provided upon completion of the agreed probation period. Any work expenses will be reimbursed weekly upon production of suitable receipts. The role involves reporting to the installation director/office manager and producing daily site reports and other requested paperwork (surveys, etc.), which is a key aspect of this role. The client is committed to ongoing training and career development, offering a competitive salary with regular overtime, pension contribution, and a competitive holiday structure.
Plumbing Engineer - Candidate Requirements:Experience with kitchen fit-outs in the commercial sector is essential.NVQ L2 & L3 preferred.Must be able to work from provided drawings/layouts.Candidate will require a CSCS card and a clean driving licence.High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
