Senior Estimator

Your new companyYou will be working for a Civil Engineering contractor based in South Midlands. The company works on major highways schemes and has a presence up and down the country, with project values ranging between £5,000 - £2 million. Due to expansion, they are now looking to onboard a senior estimator.Your new roleYou will be responsible for preparing estimates and tender submissions in line with tender enquiries and company procedures, obtaining and agreeing suitable material prices and hired plant rates for inclusion within the tenders, liaising with clients and the contracts department, maintaining good relationships with all parties, and disseminating all necessary information promptly.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful, you will be confident estimating from first principles and have an understanding of Quantity Surveying. Additionally, you will understand the process of getting a project priced up, cost plans, and the timings to get each process followed through.
