SME Systems Architect

in support to the upcoming

LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY

(LEIA). As part of a highly talented, motivated team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and its AORs. This is a remote position and telework is authorized.Duties and responsibilities include:Designs, develops, maintains, and documents solution architectures ensuring traceability to the Enterprise architecture and Enterprise requirements.Conducts the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.Develops proposed changes to the solutions architecture design based on analysis of requirements and new technology.Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.Design system architecture and components.Define system scope and vision.Develop and test system prototypes.Implement and deploy system solutions.Review and improve system architecture and design.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 12+ years' experience or Master's degree with 9+ years' experience or HS Diploma/equivalent and 16 years of experience in an enterprise architecture role.Proven success in architecting and implementing Enterprise Solutions.Demonstrable Strength in Enterprise Architecture: Strong foundation in EA principles, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).Ability to analyze complex information, identify trends, and propose solutions that align with business strategies.Sufficient technical background to interact with IT subject matter experts (SMEs) and integrate their insights into comprehensive architectural plans.Citizenship Required; must have an active Secret security clearance.Desired Qualifications:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to deliver outstanding results.Peraton Overview:Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
