OverviewThe full-time policy analyst will provide detailed research and analysis of legislation for the Senate Minority caucus and staff. We are seeking a policy-oriented individual who works well under pressure and changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

Read all legislation that is introducedWork collaboratively with the Senate Minority policy staff to conduct research and strategic analysisAssist the policy staff in preparing memos and reports as neededPreparation of legislative research for Senators during committee meetingsMeet with Senators regularly to discuss committee schedulePrepare policy memos for all legislation introduced during the interim

Compensation$50K-$60K/year commensurate with experience, with enrollment in PERA, the state’s pension program, and insurance benefits.
