The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Consolidation and Reporting, plays a vital role in the collection, consolidation, and delivery of consolidated financial information, ensuring the integrity of data, delivering reporting and analytics for our internal and external stakeholders, and driving process improvements. This role will interface heavily with our global entities and corporate personnel at various levels across the organization, as well as the internal and external auditors.In this role you will get to:Supporting the global consolidation process in OneStream to ensure complete and accurate financial statements, including topside entries and intercompany eliminations.Timely and accurate preparation and delivery of the quarterly and annual financial statements.Partnering with the Financial Systems team and the Brands to help roll out future state OneStream functionality and support adoption.Preparation of the monthly and quarterly management reporting package including balance sheet and income statement analytics.Supporting the preparation of the Consolidated Statement of Cash Flows and related analyses.Leveraging OneStream to enhance and automate reporting of results and key metrics.Recommending and assisting in implementing system and process improvements as appropriate, to simplify, standardize, and streamline consolidation, cash flow, and other role-related processes.Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve data quality or process efficiency in the normal course of this work; partnering as necessary with management and process stakeholders.Oversee the validation and distribution of monthly corporate foreign currency rates.Conducting reviews of Brand’s monthly financial reporting packages.Creating standard analyses/templates to elicit the reasons behind changes in financial statements.Partnering with the External Reporting team in the preparation and validation of financial statements and various footnotes for inclusion in the 10-Q and 10-K and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and all SEC requirements (and the related submissions to investors, lenders and other stakeholders) and the related documentation and review of supporting documents and schedules that meet the requirements for internal controls.Maintain and review chart of accounts and mapping across subsidiaries to ensure consistency for financial reporting.Establishing strong relationships with all levels of the business, managing stakeholder expectations, and facilitating discussions to ensure information flow, transparency, and collaboration.Ensuring key internal controls are properly identified and functioning as designed, preparing quarterly documentation, as needed, in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.Assisting on special projects and workstreams requiring analytical skills and knowledge of systems/processes related to business acquisitions, financial systems implementations, upgrades, or changes in accounting policy.As assigned from time to time, provide technical accounting and implementation support to members of the worldwide finance and accounting team on the treatment of accounting issues in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements and keep current on proposed accounting and SEC reporting matters to proactively update management and finance teams.As assigned from time to time, research, evaluate, and document technical accounting implications of complex or non-standard transactions and manage interactions with and develop the Company’s memos and other analyses for internal and external auditors for their audit/review of quarterly and annual financial statements and specific accounting matters, as they arise.Collaborate with other stakeholders in the Company, especially the finance organization, and partner and execute other finance-related projects and initiatives, as assigned from time to time.What you have:Bachelor's DegreeCPA required3-5 years of experience (Big 4 public accounting experience preferred)Strong consolidation and reporting experience.Understanding and previous experience with foreign currency (ASC 830 Foreign Currency Matters).Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, rapidly growing, and fluid organization.Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.Ability to effectively communicate at various levels of the organization tailored appropriately to the audience.Candidate should demonstrate effective collaboration skills up, down, and across the organization.Maintain effectiveness in a continually evolving environment.Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize workload in order to achieve objectives under tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management is a plus.Our Commitment to DiversityThrough the Booking Holdings brands, we help our customers reach all corners of the earth.
