We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for our client in Pasadena! The Accounting Clerk will provide essential support to the accounting department by handling daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in various accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or advance their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and check requests accurately and promptly.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments.Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files.Verify and reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial data to ensure accuracy.Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets.Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.Support the accounting team with audits and other financial reviews.Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing financial documents.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

Pay Details:

$24.00 to $26.00 per hour
