Make an Impact as Director, Philanthropic Giving

The Director, Philanthropic Giving at NewPath Child & Family Solutions designs, coordinates, and implements all activities to secure charitable contributions for NewPath to support and extend our mission through donors. The Director works closely with all past, active, and potential donors to lead a comprehensive donor program that maximizes support for the organization and its activities. The Director helps leverage resources to elevate, promote, and advocate work taking place at NewPath Child & Family Solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage a portfolio of all past, current, and prospective donors with an emphasis on individual major gifts, including donor identification, strategy development, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Make regular visits with donors and prospective donors.

Create comprehensive engagement strategies.

Participate in the creation and delivery of final solicitation and stewardship materials and activities.

Promote blended gifts and planned giving with donors.

Work with the CIO, Executives, Board Members, and development team to sustain and grow the portfolio, including identifying and recruiting new donors, directing the fundraising knowledge and efforts of the teams, and overseeing the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and potential donors.

Work with the CIO to identify operating and capital needs in order to integrate and direct fundraising efforts.

Track and report progress toward revenue and programmatic goals by maintaining donor records and philanthropy database.

Assist in monitoring philanthropy associated expenses ensuring proper investment of resources.

Assist with donor communications and recognition, coordinating with CIO and marketing and development teams.

What You Bring To The Table

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management) and two years' experience.

Strong written and verbal skills.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.

Ability to work evenings and weekends and drive throughout the state as required for meeting needs of donors and NewPath.

Have a valid driver's license and good driving record with no more than 5 points and current automobile insurance.

Pass a criminal background check, along with drug screen and physical.
