Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Assistant Patient Access Director, you will be responsible for performing duties as assigned by the Regional Patient Access Director or Patient Access Director in relation to daily operations of all functions.What you will do in this role:Provide a clear understanding to all PTAC staff of what the monthly metric goals are and how the department impacts these metrics and share objectives to help improve the statistics/metrics.Handle all escalated patient and physician concerns to fullest patient/physician satisfaction possible.Inform the Patient Access Director of any significant issues in the patient access area (i.e. preregistration delays, pre-authorization back logs, increased time to register patients, etc.).Ensure quality review measurements are in place.Inform all PTAC and other departments in a timely manner of any registration process or workflow changes.Oversee management of personnel, providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustment and personnel action where appropriate.Determine trends in operational performance and identify process improvement opportunities: up-front collections, reduction in insurance unbilled, reduced percentage of error, etc.What qualifications you will need:A minimum of 3 years of patient access experience with two of those years in a healthcare leadership role.A Bachelor’s degree is required. However, degree requirement can be waived IF you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.Be a part of an organization that invests in you!
