Surgical Assistants & Surgical Technologists (brazenconnect.com)Sentara Healthcare is hiring an experiencedCardiac Surgical Technologist for the Sentara Heart Hospital that is located on the campus of Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VirginiaUp to a $15,000 sign on bonus available for qualified candidates!
Shift: Full Time, First ShiftREQUIREMENTS:Virginia License/Registration REQUIREDNational Certification REQUIREDCompletion of Surgical Technologist program REQUIRED*Cardiac Experience STRONGLY PREFERREDDepartment Overview:Sentara Heart Hospital is the region's first and only dedicated heart hospital. This exceptional facility carries on Sentara Norfolk General's tradition for cardiac excellence by consistently ranking among the nation's top 50 heart programs in the U.S. News & World Report's annual hospital rankings.
The cardiothoracic operating room is part of the surgical services team that treat open-heart (cardiothoracic) patients.
We are made up of five operating rooms which includes a hybrid OR. We handle 8+ OR cases daily.
