The Software Engineer QA 3 sets and maintains quality standards for company products using systematic processes. This position develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test plans and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. The Software Engineer QA 3 consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. This position may also develop tools and environments to automate test execution.Position Responsibilities may include:Create and execute Master Test Strategy and Plan.Lead/assist in conducting necessary reviews and walkthroughs in collaboration with junior QA, developers, and managers to define the scope of testing and obtaining approval from all required stakeholders.Collaborate with external teams for API integration testing.Conduct peer reviews for QA documentation.Conduct feature demo for support, during each release cycle.Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues and problems.Interacting with QA manager to provide input on project plan, test estimate, risk management and statuses for various deliverables and efforts.Mentoring QA junior personnel on test methods, strategies, test environments, and other technical aspects.Promoting and advocating best practices within the team and throughout the business.Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.Nature & Scope:Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision.Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals.Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.Knowledge & Skills:Working knowledge of configuring Linux test environments, configuring databases and test lines, server setups, and automated cron jobs.Strong experience in Test Management tools.Ability to derive test scenarios from business requirements.Ability to assess and develop a good understanding of customer's automated testing needs, explore and co-ordinate the required automated testing activities on all possible areas.Ability to articulate clear and compelling reasons to persuade developers to make product changes for the end user's benefit.Experience with various development and testing methodologies (scrum, agile etc).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.Experience:6 - 8 years of relevant experienceEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Software, Electrical, or other related Engineering field required.People Management:
