Overview:
Wild Rose Family Center Daycare is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as the Director of our established daycare facility. This unique opportunity not only offers a chance to lead a dedicated team in providing top-tier early childhood education but also the potential for future ownership of the business. We are committed to finding and training the right individual to take on this vital role and, eventually, to transition into ownership of the facility.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily operations of Wild Rose Family Center Daycare, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula and activities that support the holistic growth and development of children.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children, fostering positive behavior and social-emotional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, staff, and the community, ensuring open and effective communication.
Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, to create a cohesive and motivated team.
Oversee compliance with all local and state regulations, ensuring that the facility meets or exceeds all licensing requirements.
Handle administrative duties, including budgeting, record-keeping, and reporting, to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the daycare.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in early childhood education and daycare management, with a strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
Familiarity with daycare and preschool regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance.
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
A long-term vision for the future, with an interest in eventually owning and operating the daycare.
