Truist Securities’ Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts will join a business group and play a meaningful role in supporting senior Sales, Trading & Research professionals.The Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within Sales, Trading & Research. Assignments will be within the Sales, Trading & Research group listed below, with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank. Within each group, Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.Money Market Sales & TradingThis opportunity is for a motivated, collaborative candidate to join our team as a Sales or Trading Analyst. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Truist professionals in a dynamic environment, providing ample avenues for skill development and exposure to various function-specific applications across the platform. Depending on your placement, your primary focus will be on Sales or Trading Analyst responsibilities within the money market desk (REPO, Securities lending, and Commercial Paper). Key activities will include generating and executing trade ideas, market making, engaging with institutional clients, and managing client relationships.Success in this role requires comfort with a fast-paced, high-volume environment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating effective presentations and interacting with institutional money managers and treasury professionals. Familiarity with programming and proficiency in Excel macros is a plus.Location:
Truist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. The majority of Sales, Trading & Research Analysts will be placed in Atlanta.Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is $100,000.Minimum Requirements:Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2024 – May/June 2025Proven analytical ability and attention to detailSolid leadership and interpersonal skillsSuperior written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPreferred Requirements:Business or STEM (highly preferred) majorStrong interest in finance and investment bankingPrior completion of Accounting or Finance courseworkHigh degree of academic and extracurricular achievementWillingness to commit substantial time and energy to the programOverall GPA of 3.0At this time, Truist will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization, nor will we offer any immigration-related support for this position.Truist supports a diverse workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
