We are currently seeking a
Principal Veterinarian
to oversee all aspects of our practice or an
experienced Veterinarian
with the potential to grow into the Principal role to join our growing team!

Job Summary
The Principal Doctor is responsible for comprehensive oversight and accountability across all facets of the hospital. This role is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of top-notch veterinary care, exceptional client service, and the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure consistent, high-quality care and exceptional service.
Partner with the Practice Manager to support hospital operations.
Lead hospital team meetings and develop annual plans and budgets.
Oversee talent acquisition, training, and development of employees.
Maximize hospital efficiency, profitability, and productivity.
Ensure current licensures for all applicable employees.
Support and mentor Associate Doctors.
Guide Associate Doctors in delivering exceptional medical care.
Ensure compliance with veterinary medicine regulations.
Lead community outreach and marketing efforts.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
5+ years practicing as a DVM in a hospital setting.
Prior experience training associate doctors and paraprofessional staff.
Work Location and Environment
The Principal Doctor position is performed onsite at our hospital.
Position requires 40+ hours per week to meet client needs.
Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift 50+ pounds.
