Be a strategic partner on the Express leadership team, participating in significant strategic discussions.Identify key financial KPI’s for the business and drive reporting and analysis of performance.Review and evaluate all financial operating data and develop conclusions based on data analysis.Identify and evaluate opportunities for profitability improvement.Participate in strategic planning activities for Express, providing supporting analysis.Oversee all finance and accounting activities for Express.Create Finance & Accounting policies and procedures and focus on continuous process improvement.Lead budget and forecasting initiatives, including preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.Collaborate with IT regarding Finance and Accounting software enhancements.Oversee the Tax Accounting functions and represent Express on tax audits.Develop a Financial Risk Management strategy.Manage Financial Analysis and Reporting activities in coordination with the Sasser Corporate Finance Team.Lead, direct, evaluate and develop the Accounting & Finance team.Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:

Master’s degree (MBA or Finance) is highly preferred.10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar senior leadership position.Experience working in a large-scale ERP environment, preferably Intacct.Experience working with financial budgeting and planning software, preferably Adaptive.Demonstrated success in analyzing and reporting on business operating results.Knowledge of GAAP and its specific application to auto and truck rental.Results driven, able to focus on organizational growth and financial performance.Strong executive presence and ability to communicate concisely with leadership.Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.A leadership style that is transparent, inclusive, and committed to results.Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. This role will require periodic travel.Working Conditions
