Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.Under direction of the Correctional Business Manager I, this position is assigned a variety of analytical tasks associated with the Budget of San Quentin Rehabilitation Center. Track and oversee all budgeting and expenditures within the institution, analyze operational trends and maintain supporting documentation. Prepare mid-year review for submission to the Department. Analyze, review, and make recommendations and proposals on various departmental requests and issues affecting institutional operations, including, but not limited to, overcrowding, ratio positions, vacancies, and efficiency measures. Prepare and review of various budgetary schedules required of San Quentin by headquarters for preparation of the Departmental Budget (Schedule 7A, 8, etc.). Develop annual Budget Change Concept Requests and Proposals for submission to headquarters. Reviews documents involving establishment, modifications, or abolishment of positions for budgeting implications. Assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of the Post Assignment Schedule to the authorized Personnel Roster.Working Conditions

Hybrid Information: This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.
