Together, as One Team, we will manufacture many more tomorrows.Position Summary:The Associate Director of Government Pricing and Contracts is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and compliant government pricing calculation results to our customers and government agencies. This will include coordinating between costing, contracting and other departments. This role successfully manages and reviews all periodic pricing, as well as statutory and state reporting, within the mandated timelines. This position also ensures that regulation changes and new customer onboarding are actively monitored, ensuring that appropriate team staffing levels are maintained, training programs for calculation analysts are executed, and effective communications are disseminated addressing any changes in guidance for government programs that will impact internal operations.Responsibilities:Review and approve all government pricing calculation outputs within mandated timelines. This is inclusive of submission of product, pricing and other pertinent data to DoD, BARDA and other Federal agencies.Work closely with cost accounting team to optimize government pricing and drive efficiencies.Develop, maintain, and adhere to internal policies/procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and effective corporate governance.Build detailed subject matter expertise in the area of government program and regulations.Manage compliance with all required government reporting requirements.Drive the full government order-to-cash process, ensuring invoices are submitted accurately and timely through required government portals, and support collections.Main point of contact for all governmental pricing audits and reviews.Support non-governmental contract pricing proposals as time allows and ensure consistent application of pricing best practices across the breadth of contracts.Regularly initiate, champion, lead and participate as a team member on complex process improvement efforts that span multiple business areas and functions.Assure internal data and/or system migration projects and other technical initiatives are successful.Drive process improvements in order to stay current with industry standards and regulatory changes, as well as streamline department processes.Track, maintain, and report monthly and quarterly performance metrics to management.Qualifications:Deep understanding of cost accounting and how it may be applied to government contracts.Demonstrated ability to establish processes and controls to satisfy routine internal/ external audits.Excellent business analytical skills, a high accuracy rate, and attention to detail.A strong working knowledge of government pricing practices, calculation methodologies, healthcare programs, and supporting regulations is required.Pharmaceutical Industry & Government Pricing Calculation function experience.Must be diplomatic, persuasive, and able to establish good rapport with a full spectrum of internal and external partners, from operators to Sr. Executives, both inside and outside the company.Must consistently demonstrate knowledge beyond the key subject areas and be recognized as a connector of key technical/subject information with larger business goals.Ability to take ownership and accountability accompanied by honest and ethical behavior.Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to “think on his/her feet” and suggest alternatives and solutions.Exhibit superior communication and influencing skills: oral, written, listening and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to teach, train and grow capability of others.Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance or related field.Minimum of 8 years’ experience in life-sciences, contracts and Pricing, or related expertise.Minimum 5 years’ demonstrating progressive leadership/management responsibility.Experience working with cross-functional teams is required.Proven experience with managing and building teams, coaching, developing and performance management.Safety for our employees and our communities is a key priority for Kindeva Drug Delivery.
