At DWG, our engineers are responsible for all aspects of software development, including frontend, backend, and tool development, and a strong knowledge base in the entirety of the software development lifecycle. You’ll help work with other teams, propose ideas and solutions to various problems that arise, implement big ideas to help evolve our games, and then measure results. You will create and grow games in numerous locations with millions of users. Be part of our innovative, imaginative and intelligent team. If you have big ideas and the drive to make things happen, we want to talk with you!Your Role and Impact:Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.Take ownership of the architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling of new and current systems.Contribute throughout all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception through design, development, deployment, and operation.Identify performance bottlenecks and come up with innovative ways to solve them.Provide assistance, guidance and leadership to entry level Engineers.Provide support to external customers when needed.Assist with automating existing and new processes and services to increase stability and efficiency.Participate in code reviews with other members of the software team.Additional duties as assigned.Requirements:5+ years experience in full stack development (architecture, design, development, delivery, etc.).Experience with C# .NET Core MVC.Experience with JavaScript; canvas-based rendering and WebGL/WebGPU experience a plus.Knowledge of NoSQL Database; MongoDB specifically a plus.REST API development experience.Experience with Python, jQuery, CSS, Rust, or GitHub Actions a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.About Design Works Gaming:As a highly recognized 3rd party game development company, Design Works Gaming builds top-performing casino games for the industry’s biggest names across three verticals: Land-Based Gaming, Real-Money Gaming Online and our own Social Games.
