The Data Analyst will be responsible for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data from games played by millions of users. The ideal candidate will have an excellent ability to think outside of the box and be genuinely excited and enthusiastic about learning.Your Role and Impact:Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to create reports and present data using Power BIUtilize in-depth knowledge of Data AnalysisProvide intermediate analytic programming support (e.g., Python or SQL)Participate in daily stand-up sessions with your team to review work in progress and collaborate to enhance processes or find solutionsWork closely with the engineering team to translate data from native format to usable, readily available data to meet business intelligence and analytical needs.Monitor data quality and take corrective action; automate data quality monitoring and improve auditing capabilitiesWork with our cloud-based platform in Microsoft (Azure & SQL Server), manipulating data through multiple Microsoft-provided servicesDevelop new methods and streamline existing processes for collecting, storing, cleaning, validating, and visualizing dataRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.Experience in data analysis or statistical analysisProgramming experience in Python and SQLProficient in Power BIAbility to synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement dataAbility to generate creative solutions; Translates concepts and information into reports for stakeholders; Uses feedback to modify designs; Applies design principles; Demonstrates attention to detailAbility to be creative in the context of market demandMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsMust have strong communication skillsConsistently meets deadlines and expectationsMust be able to work in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Ability to apply statistical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, and correlation techniquesAbout Design Works GamingAs a highly recognized 3rd party game development company, Design Works Gaming builds top-performing casino games for the industry’s biggest names across three verticals: Land-Based Gaming, Real-Money Gaming Online and our own Social Games.
