Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Psychologist for the Edison Outpatient Department within Rutgers, University Behavioral Health Care. Under the direction of the Program Director, the Psychologist provides therapeutic interventions for the psychological and social needs of individuals served.Key Duties:Actively participates in and contributes to the smooth functioning of unit and demonstrates initiative and flexibility regarding work assignments.Effectively contributes to and supports an environment that enhances the positive self-image of individuals served.Provides direct care, psychotherapeutic interventions/services in accordance with UBHC program/unit policies.Consistently provides individual, group, and family therapy based on sound clinical judgment.Completes and monitors clinical records in compliance with UBHC program policies.Takes a lead clinical role in the department, including the professional development of staff, students, and interns.Position Status:

ExemptMinimum Education and Experience:Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. in Psychology with relevant experience.Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a behavioral health care or related setting.Certifications/Licenses:
Candidate must be licensed in the State of New Jersey as a Clinical Psychologist.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Special Instructions to Applicants:
