Project Engineer, Expansion Joints and Bellows.U.S. Bellows, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing expansion joints for engineered pipe and duct-work in the industry since the 1960s and has been a proud member of the Expansion Joint Manufacturer's Association (EJMA) since 2002.Responsibilities
Responsible for the engineering and design of high performance expansion joints.Oversee all elements required to produce high performance expansion joints, including the raw materials, machinery, equipment and personnel.Develop new business.Direct quoting activities.Manage the order and order fulfillment process, including material management and employee scheduling.Monitor the quantity and quality of products to ensure customer expectations are met and company production standards are maintained.Improve efficiencies by developing improved methods of design and production to decrease waste and increase production capabilities.Adhere to a budget, including material and employee management.Requirements
B.S., Mechanical Engineering.0-2 years of experience in manufacturing and fabrication.Involvement in overall manufacturing division planning and management.Previous experience in either project management, application design, engineering, estimating, pricing quotations, design and drafting of all fabrication drawings and responsible for all estimates.Sales and customer service experience with pricing for engineering requests.Skills / Experience:
Experience with EJMA and ASME Section VIII design and welding procedures, a plus.Knowledge of “U” and “R” Stamps for ASME Section VIII pressure vessels.3D CAD (Inventor, Pro/E, Catia, SolidWorks) Parametric Automation Programming.Mechanical Experiment design/data acquisition and analysis.FEA Ansys Linear/Non-Linear, Cosmos.Classical Analysis Mathcad.Visual Basic and General Database Programming.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.Benefits
