As an employee of USC, you will be a part of a world-class research university and a member of the "Trojan Family," which is comprised of the faculty, students and staff that make the university what it is.Dr. Yong (Tiger) Zhang's laboratory of the Department of Pharmacology & Pharmaceutical Sciences at USC Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate to conduct research on protein post-translational modifications, antibody engineering, and preclinical design of chemotherapeutic and immunotherapeutic agents to treat cancer, immune disorders, and infectious diseases.Responsibilities:Conduct research on protein post-translational modifications.Engage in antibody engineering.Design preclinical studies for chemotherapeutic and immunotherapeutic agents.Qualifications:Minimum Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field.Research experience in organic synthesis or medicinal chemistry is required.Strong background in chemistry or chemical biology is preferred.Knowledge of cell culturing and protein expression and purification is a plus.The annual base salary range for this position is $64,480 - $66,000.
