Senior Director - Cyber Engineering

Job Description
Lead the engineering efforts for Cyber campaign, focusing on the deployment and integration of Cyber solutions.
Collaborate with the Cyber Lead, Cyber Architect, and Chief Engineer to ensure seamless implementation of security frameworks and architectures.
Develop, configure, and maintain security tools and systems to support Federal Zero Trust initiatives.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks of solutions and architectures.
Provide hands-on technical expertise and guidance in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security infrastructure and toolsets to BAE Systems teammates and Government customers.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and compliance reports that can be leveraged on current and future projects and programs.
Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored Cyber solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity technologies, threats, and regulatory changes.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust principles and cybersecurity engineering practices.
Proven experience in implementing and managing cybersecurity solutions for Federal clients.
Demonstrated familiarity with the state of the art in commercial and open-source tools and services for Cyber use cases.
Expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
Seasoned leadership and project management capabilities.
Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid environments.
Advanced knowledge of security technologies for hybrid environments, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, security automation, endpoint protection, cloud security microservices, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively at the most senior levels of Government (customer) and Corporate management (company) to articulate the understanding of their mission needs and requirements and to communicate the value and benefit of your engineering solutions.
Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements and project requirements.
DoD 8570/8140 Level III compliant certification(s) such as CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP, CISM, CISA, CASP+ ce, etc.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong advisory skills, capable of providing high-level strategic guidance to customers with complex and occasionally highly bespoke needs.
Ability to engage in corporate outreach through public releases and public speaking engagements.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies including scope, cost and schedule, and resource management to include Earned Value Management.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $164000 - $278800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
