Acara Solutions is hiring an Accounts Receivable Coordinator for our client in Buffalo, NY.Type:

Direct Hire

Schedule:

100% onsite, Monday-Friday between 8AM to 5PM

Salary:

Between $60,000-70,000K, depending on experience

In this position, you will be responsible for collecting funds on accounts for which tenants are overdue in payment and properly reacting to tenant failure to make payments.Responsibilities:Monitor open rent and accounts receivable reports to identify late tenant payments for rent, CAM, taxes, utilities, etc.Contact tenants with overdue lease payments to collect outstanding funds.Address tenant inquiries regarding lease calculations or discrepancies.Verify lease methodology aligns with lease terms.Coordinate with billing and lease administration departments to document payment changes.Collaborate with leasing agents and corporate counsel on actions for past-due accounts.Place tenant accounts in default and communicate with outside counsel for default and demand letters.Calculate and produce proof of claim reports for tenant bankruptcies, covering pre-petition, administration, and rejection damages.Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required.Minimum of 2 years' experience in account collections or a field related to accounting and customer service is required.Computer literate, preferably in MS Word/Excel.Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
