Director of Nursing (DON)

The Pines Rehabilitation and Health Center is located in Beautiful Lyndonville, VT and provides short & long-term nursing/rehabilitation services. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Director of Nursing to join our team of compassionate caregivers and to lead the nursing team by providing clinical leadership and oversight to our 60 bed skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively share the vision of person-centered care and build effective nursing teams.

Minimum qualifications include:

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in long-term care

Proven experience in nursing leadership and management of day-to-day operations focusing on continuous quality improvement and patient outcomes.

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Federal and State regulatory and compliance standards.
