We are currently looking to hire a dynamic Director of Nursing to join our 90 bed skilled nursing facility in VT!
The name of the facility is Crescent Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in scenic Bennington, VT.
This position will be responsible to organize and oversee all nursing service operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading and training nursing staff in a long-term care setting. A current Registered Nurse license is required.
Responsibilities
Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel
Guide staffing procedures
Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
Organize and coordinate resident care and nursing practice
Develop and enforce policies aiming for high quality standards and compliance with all federal and state regulations and requirements
Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
Skills
Proven experience as Director of Nursing
Great knowledge of federal and state regulations and best practices in healthcare
Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration
Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
Great communication and people skills
Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Valid VT License and CPR certification
The successful candidate will receive a $5000 sign on bonus along with a very generous compensation, benefits and PTO package.

Crescent Manor is home to a 40 bed Dementia Special Care Unit and a 22 bed Special Care Huntington’s Unit.
