Parametrix, a leading engineering, planning, and environmental sciences consulting firm, is seeking a

SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIAN/PRESERVATION PLANNER . This position will join our Cultural Resources practice in our Portland office. You will support clients and projects across Oregon, Washington, and California.This role would provide senior leadership for our team of architectural historians and archaeologists based in Portland. This position has flexibility for a hybrid schedule. You will support team collaboration, camaraderie and may supervise others based on interest. Occasional field work and travel for team, project, and client collaboration is required. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000.WHO YOU ARE:

Experienced:

You have a graduate degree in Architectural History, Historic Preservation, Public History, or a related educational field. Your experience includes 10+ years of cultural resource management or historic preservation practice. Work experience includes projects that require compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and other applicable federal, local, and state regulations. You have experience with project and client management, technical review of deliverables for junior team members, and proposal preparation experience.Knowledgeable:

You have demonstrated ability leading and delegating responsibilities for delivery of:historic built environment field surveys of varying scalesregulatory compliance technical reportingNational Register of Historic Places eligibility evaluations and inventory form preparationhistoric property effects assessmentmitigation fulfillment.You are thorough, pride yourself in having strong technical writing skills, provide constructive quality control review and coordinate with collaborators, clients and agency reviewers.Relationship-focused:
