POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a Software Developer who enjoys keeping current in technology to help us develop a web application for data center management. We develop in a collaborative environment where our workday involves Java 17, Spring, Angular 15, Hibernate, REST APIs, PostgreSQL 15, Tomcat 10, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, and SCRUM.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollow Sunbird’s software development process to participate in full software development life cycleAnalyze and clarify the requirements of software enhancementsDesign and implement software enhancements using Angular, HTML and CSSAssist in the maintenance and migration of AngularJS to AngularProduce efficient, reusable, and maintainable software codeWrite unit tests and perform unit testing and integration testingDeliver high-quality software code on time and on scopeWork with QA testers to fix software defects in the applicationResearch, evaluate, and leverage third-party software, libraries, and tools to facilitate software developmentREQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or a related field1+ years of professional experience in Angular developmentStrong problem solving and debugging skillsGood understanding of core Javascript, typescript, HTML5, and CSS3Solid experience with REST web service developmentUnix/Linux experienceWillingness and aptitude to learn new technologiesCreative, industrious, and self-managedDESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLSA candidate with experience in the following areas will be at an advantage:Graphic DesignUser ExperienceExperience migrating from AngularJS to AngularKnowledge of jQuery, AngularJS, or other feature rich Ajax JavaScript librariesStrong understanding of HTML, CSS and applying style sheets to create sophisticated layoutsWHY SUNBIRD?We are all about delighting our clients and live/breathe the end client/user experienceWe have amazing PTO Policy that allows you to take care of yourself and your familyWe offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance to employeesWe believe in collaboration, teamwork, creativity and taking initiativeInterested?
