Energy AnalystUtility Programs and ServicesLocation: Columbia, MD (Hybrid - Remote with local office travel)Are you ready to make a difference?We are seeking an Operations Lead (Energy Analyst) for our Energy Efficiency division to manage program implementation work in Maryland and Virginia. The analyst will work with a cross-functional team of program management, outreach, technical and marketing personnel as well as actively lead project delivery, strategy, and market development efforts.The analyst will work with the Mid-Atlantic Operations Manager, client portfolio leads, and the broader Mid-Atlantic team to develop and deliver a holistic strategy and focus on the coordination of the delivery between multiple large portfolios, leverage regional staff based on fluctuating workloads, and develop best practices for programmatic functions such as project reviews, performance tracking, client deliverables, and project startup activities. The analyst will also lead quarterly regulatory reporting for multiple Mid-Atlantic clients.What you will be doing:Direct the quality and performance of:Coordination of regular program-level deliverables (weekly reports, forecasting, etc.), working with project managers to add qualitative information and portfolio lead for final quality reviewCompile/verify forecasts reportsTrack contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and coordinate with portfolio manager on any necessary corrective action plansSupport internal and external team meetings by prepping and pulling quantitative data, coordinating with project managers on qualitative inputs, coordinating with portfolio lead on agenda, hosting meeting, and documenting action itemsCoordination with rebate processing team to ensure all incentives are processed. Ensure timely customer and subcontractor payments.Generate accurate and polished deliverables for all regulatory filings, reports, and presentations. Coordinate with portfolio manager for final inputs and approvals.Maintain and update shared files, resources and program documents to ensure all program staff has access to latest versions of materials.Coordinate with program managers to develop and maintain portfolio-level performance forecasts and trend analysis.Maintain business workflow documents and keep process guides updated.Manage operations for the implementation of the two client programs, responsible for the following tasks:Ensure that the programs are performing as expected and explain forecasted variances.Collaborate with program managers to ensure all activities related to quality program delivery is executed.Present performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.Review and approve large projects in a timely manner and with high attention to detail.Lead data compilation/reporting efforts:Coordinate with IT, PMs, and clients to facilitate a smooth delivery of regulatory reporting on a quarterly basis for multiple accounts.Utilize data tools (Excel, Power Query) to streamline compiling large sets of data in a short timeframe.QC large sets of data to ensure 100% accuracy before delivering to clients.What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):Bachelor's Degree (candidates can substitute years of experience for each year of education)2+ years of experience supporting, developing, or administering successful demand side management or similar programsAdvanced MS Excel experience and skillsData visualization skillsExperience with Power QueryWhat we would like you to have (preferred):Knowledge of the utility and energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and marketsCertifications related to operational excellence (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) and/or industry specific certificates (LEED, BPI, RESNET, etc.)Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential informationAbility to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clientsSuperior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitudeExcellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skillsStrong project management skillsTimeliness and strong work ethicOutstanding analytical skills and attention to detailWorking at ICFICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants. - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$54,063.00 - $91,907.00 Columbia, MD (MD12)
