Dream Golf is a growing collection of destination golf resorts that includes Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon, Sand Valley in Central Wisconsin, and Rodeo Dunes in Colorado.Job Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and analysis of corporate financial statements for all Dream Golf entities.Working closely with external CPA firms, lead the preparation and review of annual corporate income tax returns for all Dream Golf entities and oversee tax planning for the businesses and its members / shareholders.Administer Microsoft Business Central and Solver reporting software for office and resort users.Perform financial analysis for capital additions and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules for the resorts in Business Central.Corporate treasury management including but not limited to bank account reconciliations, transfers, reporting, and account administration for corporate and resort purposes.Oversee office and pre-development accounts payable.Communicate as needed with external attorneys, vendors, accounting, tax, and banking contacts.Maintain accounting records for entities overseen by office including trial balance, financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close.Working with supervisor and external legal and accounting firms establish and oversee calendar for entity tax returns and other compliance.Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures for office functions.Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by supervisor and ownership.Qualifications
Four-year accounting degree. CPA or MBA preferred.6 years accounting/finance experience. Hospitality, real estate or service-industry experience preferred.Strong Excel skills with a proven ability to work on complex spreadsheets.Working knowledge of financial statements and GAAP concepts.Working knowledge of US tax laws and preparation/review of corporate tax returns.Work experience in a multi-unit, geographically diverse organization helpful.Knowledge of enterprise-level accounting software systems (Microsoft Business Central and Solver reporting preferred).Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with teams in a hands-on capacity.Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.Classifications:
