Accuray is preparing for a period of tremendous revenue and profitability growth as a result of successful go-to-market strategies, geographical expansion, and new market product introductions. We're searching for a highly qualified Vice President Corporate Controller, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, who will be responsible for the Global Accounting and Controllership organization.This position will ensure adequate systems of internal controls exist globally and ensure trained teams are staffed to produce financial statements accurately and timely within the company's existing ERP systems. This position will also be a key driver for a new ERP system implementation anticipated in the next two years.REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:

Reports to the SVP & CFO in the Finance & Accounting department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and direct both U.S. and International accounting functions, including leadership over balance sheet reviews and month-end close processes.Hands-on oversight of global revenue accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.Work with regional commercial and operations leaders to support revenue operations; advise on revenue deal structuring while ensuring GAAP compliance.Establish and maintain the organization's accounting principles, practices, and procedures.Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliant with GAAP and applicable international and local regulatory laws.Partner with other finance leaders to drive finance operational improvements.Drive organization improvements to develop high-performing finance and accounting talent.Provide leadership to the Technical and Revenue Accounting team and ensure transparency for revenue recognition.Ensure compliance with debt covenants.Lead the interaction with China JV finance team and ensure proper integration of JV's financial results.Own global working capital delivery (AR and AP) and work with the FP&A team to project working capital performance commitments.Drive continuous improvement to optimize the utilization of our new SAP/ERP system.Act as the primary point of contact for the Company's independent auditors.Prepare audit committee agenda and package quarterly; deliver key messages to the audit committee members along with the CFO.Evaluate organizational structure against best practices for optimization of resources.Partner with leaders across the organization to utilize accounting as a growth driver.QUALIFICATIONS:Preferred or Desired:Public accounting experience.Required:BA or advanced degree in Accounting, CPA certification, and skilled in US GAAP.10-15 years' experience in medium to large scale organization, ideally in med tech or capital equipment industry.Working knowledge of US and international tax concepts.Thorough understanding of ASC 606 in a complex revenue transaction environment.Demonstrated expertise in field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Experience managing large teams in various global locations.Knowledge and Skills:Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Results-oriented; high business acumen/strategic orientation.Self-motivated with a bias for action and strong analytical skills.Detail-oriented with passion to dive into problem areas.Strong business acumen and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.Experience working with peers in non-accounting and financial functions.Demonstrated experience in overseeing foreign operating locations.Ability to inspire continuous focus on key business drivers.Continuous improvement oriented with familiarity with lean principles.Customer service oriented with a high sense of urgency.To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.EEO Statement:

Accuray pay ranges vary based on work location. This role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
