We’re searching for a highly qualified Vice President and Corporate Controller, reporting to the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the Global Accounting and Controllership organization and its financial/SEC reporting in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and foreign statutory reporting.REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:Reports to the SVP & CFO in the Finance & Accounting department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and direct both the U.S. and International accounting functions.Oversight of global revenue accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.Work with regional commercial and operations leaders to support revenue operations.Establish and maintain the organization's accounting principles and practices.Ensure effective internal controls compliant with GAAP and applicable laws.Partner with finance leaders to drive operational improvements.Develop the finance and accounting talent pool.Provide leadership to the Technical and Revenue Accounting team.Ensure compliance with debt covenants.Lead interaction with China JV finance team.Own global working capital delivery and project performance commitments.Drive continuous improvement of existing processes.Act as primary contact for the Company’s independent auditors.Prepare audit committee agenda and package.Evaluate organizational structure for optimization.Partner with leaders across the organization to leverage accounting as a growth driver.QUALIFICATIONS:Required:BA or advanced degree in Accounting, CPA certification, skilled in US GAAP.10-15 years’ experience in medium to large scale organization ideally in med tech or capital equipment industry.Working knowledge of US and international tax concepts.Experience applying the provisions of ASC 606.Experience managing large teams in global locations.Knowledge and Skills:Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Results-oriented with high business acumen.Self-motivated with strong analytical skills.Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving.Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.Experience overseeing foreign operating locations.Ability to lead through major changes.Continuous improvement orientation.Customer service oriented with a high sense of urgency.To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.EEO Statement:At Accuray, our commitment to patient-first outcomes drives an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
