The Jerry B. Robinson Early Learning and Child Care Center is a new childcare center in Richland, IA expected to open in September 2024. Our objective is to instill, encourage, and further a love of learning while providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of the child.
The Center Director is a committed individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently running all Center operations, including supervising staff, designing curriculum, and administering programs.
Minimum Requirements:
21 years of age or older
Degree or certification in early childhood education or equivalent experience
Has completed at least one course in business administration or has administrative related training and experience
Preferred 5 years of Center Director Experience
Must score 100 points through a combination of education, experience, and child development related training according to the HHS point system
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and project management skills
Self-directed and result driven
Familiar with HHS and QRS child care requirements
Understanding of financial reports
Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus
