Equipment Administrator

to join our team at Alpha Inc. As an Equipment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our equipment inventory, ensuring that all equipment is properly tracked, serviced, and available for use. Your expertise in equipment management will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our projects.Responsibilities:Daily Timekeeping:

Manage and oversee daily timekeeping for equipment usage, ensuring accurate tracking of hours and operational status.Reporting to Accounting:

Prepare and submit detailed reports on equipment usage, maintenance, and associated costs to the Accounting department for accurate financial tracking and budgeting.Safety and Registration:

Ensure that all company vehicles are properly licensed, registered, and compliant with safety regulations. Maintain and update vehicle registration and safety documentation.Insurance Management:

Manage insurance policies for all equipment and vehicles, ensuring that insurance cards are kept in vehicles and claims are processed promptly.Equipment Maintenance and Repairs:

Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs for all company equipment, including coordinating with external vendors as necessary.Procurement and Inventory:

Assist in the procurement of new equipment, maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, and manage equipment allocation across projects.Documentation:

Prepare and manage all equipment-related documentation, including inspections, certifications, and maintenance records.Coordination and Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for equipment-related inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability and proper use of equipment.Logistics and Compliance:

Track equipment usage and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Develop and implement cost reduction strategies and ensure efficient operation of logistics and procurement processes.Additional Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned related to equipment management and vehicle administration.Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an equipment administrative role or a similar administrative position within the construction industry is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, is required.Experience with equipment management software (e.g., HCSS) is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and safety regulations.The compensation will vary based on experience ranging between $25-$30 per hour.Alpha Inc. is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
