A Day in the LifeIn this exciting role as an IT Sr Finance Manager, you will partner directly with the Global IT Finance Director on driving and managing IT Finance across the Global IT organization. This position will reside at the Operational Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN and work per the hybrid guidelines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and help lead finance strategy meetings with key stakeholders and summarize outcomes and required actions.

Partner with IT Finance leadership in preparation and review of the Strategic and Annual Operating Plans across the Groups, Regions and Functions.

Drive recurring Global IT reporting, forecasting and P&L modeling.

Provide thought leadership on process and finance optimization opportunities for Global IT Finance.

Work on special requests, projects, and financial presentations for management as required or requested.

Develop project plans, manage issues as they arise, and monitor/report on overall execution.

Apply quantitative skills to arrive at meaningful conclusions and recommendations.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of FP&A experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years’ experience.

5+ years of management experience.

Nice to Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

MBA/CPA/CMA - Finance and Accounting Knowledge.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

Intimate understanding of CMR, CXF, SAP, Hyperion and Business Objects.

Experience with financial modeling (NPV, IRR, etc.).

Experience interfacing with various levels of management and effectively influencing the decision-making process by taking initiative to communicate appropriate courses of action backed by sound financial analysis.

Professional Leadership - Demonstrate ability to work well in a fast-moving, complex environment. Display strong influence management and interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication, and self-motivation to succeed.

Exhibit flexibility in taking on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and working independently.

Ability to work effectively under uncertainties.

Ability to translate ideas and financial results into concise presentations for senior management.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $142,400.00 - $213,600.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
