Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated contract Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients finance team in Woodland Hills. The ideal candidate will manage the complete accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciling accounts. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and vendors.

Responsibilities:

Process customer invoices promptly and accurately to ensure timely payments.

Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and contact clients to arrange payment plans if necessary.

Post and allocate incoming payments to customer accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Generate and distribute regular accounts receivable aging reports to management.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline the invoicing and payment collection processes.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Details:

$25.00 to $27.00 per hour
