DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a skilled and trustworthy Accountant + Personal Accountant to oversee the financial affairs of the owner of a group of travel companies. This role includes personal accounting, financial planning, and liaising between the CPA, Director of Finance and Accounting, and the owner for effective wealth management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Personal Financial Management:Handle personal accounting tasks, including bank management, bill payments, and investment tracking.Manage accounts payable and receivable.Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.Prepare and file personal tax returns.Provide financial advice and planning.Maintain confidential financial records.Corporate Oversight:Monitor financial operations for the companies.Coordinate with auditors and manage financial audits.Implement and monitor internal controls.Liaison Duties:Act as the primary liaison between the CPA, Director of Finance, and the owner.Facilitate communication to align financial strategies.Financial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare financial reports and statements.Present financial findings and recommendations to the owner.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Proficiency in accounting software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Bilingual (English and Spanish).ttg Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and recruiting agency.
