Monday-Friday 8-5 (40 hours) Hybrid 5 days/month in-office

What You'll DoSummary/Objective:

This team member will work directly with their team and team lead, completing tasks and assignments related to IT Security Engineering, including developing and deploying security related systems and the security of applications, servers, and network configurations and processes, in on-premises and cloud-based deployments.

Essential Functions:

Leading implementation and integration of security systems in cloud environments, such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premises servers, workstations, virtualization platforms, and others.

Completing research, analyzing opportunities for improvement, and implementing, upgrading, and maintaining, security tools and systems such as Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, NAC, Web Filters, Proxies, AV/Malware, and Vulnerability Scanning.

Working with teams to implement and improve Security and IT best practices, into evolving technologies such as Cloud Computing, Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Design, development, and review of standards, for security systems based upon industry standards and best practices.

Driving small to medium-sized projects and initiatives.

Mentor members of the team.

Subject matter expertise on a broad range of IT standards and best practices, such as related to FFIEC, NCUA, NIST, CIS, PCI, and others as applicable.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT and financial industries, including awareness of new or revised best practices, improved processes, and the development of new concepts, systems, and solutions.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Management.

What You'll NeedEducation and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, or related field.

7-10 years of experience in IT.

5-7 years of experience in Information Security.

5-7 years of experience at a Financial Institution or experience in similarly heavily regulated industries.

Working knowledge of Governance and Risk Management Frameworks, NIST 800 and CSF, FFIEC, CIS Critical Security Controls, and Financial Institution Regulatory Requirements.

Experience with Cloud Computing Environments, Security Tools and Equipment, Data Center Equipment, Networking and related Protocols, Databases, Servers, Workstations, Peripherals, and Software solutions.

Troubleshooting, problem solving, documentation and communication skills.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Active in the IT community, such as groups, conferences, and so on.
