Learn more about this agency.Duties:Serves as Administrative Officer, providing services in the areas of budget administration, manpower, personnel, records, forms publications and correspondence.Ensures requests for personnel actions are consistent with manpower authorizations and requirements and taking action to reconcile.Manages senior leader calendar and travel arrangements in support of organizational priorities; maintaining documentation and preparing vouchers.Provides excellent customer service to in-person and telephone customers by answering questions or redirecting inquiries as needed.Requirements:Conditions of Employment:Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Qualifications:Who May Apply:

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes serving as a timekeeper for an organization to include utilizing an automated time and attendance system to ensure full transparency/accuracy of timekeeping; supporting organizational budget formulation to include travel, supplies, and equipment; serving as a purchase card holder for an organization to include completing purchases following proper approvals and maintaining required documentation; submitting personnel action requests through an automated system; reviewing a variety of formal written correspondence to include ensuring proper grammar/formatting prior to final signature; AND overseeing assigned organizational tasks, required training, and staff rosters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).OREducation: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18.
