Accounting Specialist

We currently have an immediate full time opening for an Accounting Specialist at our corporate office.*INTERNAL Walman Employees Only*Job SummaryThe Accounting Specialist is responsible for coordinating and completing a variety of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and finance actions, including assisting with internal and external audit requests, vendor payment, document management, control reporting, and audit and month-end activities.Position Responsibilities:Manage Walman AR/AP activities that are out of scope from EssilorLuxottica Global Business Services (GBS).Coordinate customer onboarding and customer maintenance including buying groups.Document customer creation and maintenance for buying groups.Prepare and scan customer checks and key GL checks that are mailed to corporate address.Coordinate accounting mailroom activities including sorting, clarifying, and scanning mail, packages, and invoices.Review and approve tax exempt forms.Provide project support as requested.Perform other duties as assigned.Experience/Qualifications:Position requires a two- or four-year degree and a minimum of seven years high-volume, relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.Proficient with Windows, Word & Excel along with excellent keyboarding skills.Adhere to processes and be able to problem solve.Must be able to manage varied duties with varied overseers and meet deadlines.Attention to detail and high accuracy level.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply online today!The
