Professional Services Project Manager

Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow – all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible.Overview:This position in our Professional Services is to lead implementation projects for customers to be successful by managing project plans to implement PTC products while satisfying customer requirements in terms of quality, cost, and schedule.Responsibilities:Project management in Professional Services implementation of PTC Products (CAD/PLM, IOT/AR)Define and document project goal/scope/stakeholders aligned with client vision and transformation strategies (roadmaps)Plan, lead, and monitor/report projects that deploy PTC’s technology solutions to drive value for clients by transforming how they create and service their productsConduct quality, risk, and configuration managementWork closely with project team and PTC’s relevant organizations to manage comprehensive solution approach, deliverables, schedule, and risk in conjunction with controlling changesSupport and coach new team members with a ramp-up planSkills and Knowledge:Proven body of knowledge in all areas of project managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation skillsAbility to lead people, business processes, and business objectivesImplementation management process with developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usabilityExperience:Minimum of 3 years demonstrated project management experience in leading projects or programsFunctional and/or implementation (PDM, ERP, CRM, and others) management experience in any of the following industries: Automotive, Electronics, Machinery, and other discrete manufacturing industriesMechanical, electrical, or electronics design experience in the above industry (preferred)Minimum Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification/competencies (preferred)Business English and fluent JapaneseLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
