Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill a SME Digital Engineering Environment Lead position for the upcoming

LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY

(LEIA). Positions are located both CONUS/OCONUS at the INDOPACOM HQ, and at the TSOC and other locations abroad.

Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and its AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Acts as the Digital Engineering Environment Lead with specialized expertise in the rapidly evolving field of Digital Engineering.

This role is responsible for seamlessly integrating modeling and simulation activities into program planning, manufacturing, and engineering initiatives across the organization's portfolio.

Provides continuous analysis to support decision-making throughout the entire program life cycle.

Ensures product consistency by integrating models, data, and artifacts within both internal systems and external program dependencies, offering a comprehensive programmatic perspective and enhancing efficiency and confidence throughout the life cycle.

Drives portfolio-wide proficiency and investment by shaping digital manufacturing and engineering practices, offering assessments that map out specified portfolio products and processes.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 16 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 10 years with Ph.D. Additional Experience may be considered in lieu of higher education.

Fully adjudicated Secret clearance or higher.

Proficiency with requirements management tools like IBM DOORS NG or Jama Connect, and MBSE tools like MagicDraw, Cameo, IBM Rhapsody, or Sparx EA.

Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB, STK, or ModelCenter.

In-depth knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts, including the use of engineering models throughout the lifecycle, authoritative lifecycle data, digital threads, and digital twins.

Experience in supporting the design, development, and management of systems engineering through its life cycle.

Experience in architecting solutions based on user requirements and use cases for application across the systems engineering life cycle.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and dynamic team environment, collaborating with internal staff, external contractors, and government clients to enhance the use of MBSE in client acquisition programs, perform various systems engineering and program management functions, identify and manage technical risks, develop technical reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.

Desired Qualifications:

Understanding of the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) process and standards.

INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.

Experience with DoD acquisitions and digital transformation.

Experience in defining a digital engineering ecosystem, including infrastructure, tool selection, process development, and utilization.

Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools within a digital thread.

Familiarity with modular open systems approach (MOSA) design principles and technologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methodologies and tools.

OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) certification.

Experience in conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions into systems models, and developing detailed designs to support product development.

Experience in developing safety-critical applications based on standards such as ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-178, DO-254, and MIL-STD-882.

Experience with engineering tools, including PLM/PDM tools like TeamCenter or Windchill, digital engineering tools like SBE Vision or Syndeia, modeling and simulation tools like ModelCenter or Dassault 3DS, and CAD tools like SolidWorks or CATIA.

Target Salary Range:

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
