This position reports directly to the President & CEO and is responsible for the day-to-day financial and information technology (IT) management of five entities.

Financial & IT Management:

Oversee, manage and supervise all functions of accounting and IT operations, which includes payables, receivables, payroll, cost accounting, and IT systems.

Analyze company financials and present reports monthly to the President/CEO and Executive Management.

Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning purposes including financing activities.

Lead periodic KPI Meetings with the Management Team.

Ensure compliance with all IRS & State Department of Revenue rules & regulations.

Ensure all financial reporting is compliant with US GAAP.

Act as company liaison with external auditors, tax accountants, bankers, and legal for annual audits, corporate tax filings, or contractual matters.

ERP implementation, migrations, and upgrades.

Process the financial activities of the organization to maximize company profits and plan for its growth.

Risk Mitigation:

Oversee and manage the entire insurance package (general liability, recall, business disruption, trucking, cargo, etc.) as well as coverage and benefit plans (Health & 401k), including compliance.

Ensure company adherence to established internal controls and procedures.

Monitor transactions from bank accounts, credit cards, or lending arrangements.

Forecasting:

Oversee the Annual Budget process and measure against actual revenue & expenses throughout the year.

Maintain forward-looking proformas to aid in predicting future company health.

Assist sales team on customer pricing for RFPs.

Team Building:

Hiring and managing the accounting and IT team to meet company deadlines and objectives.

Provide training and mentorship to employees.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

M.B.A. with CPA Certification preferred.

5-10 years of managerial experience.
