Hiring Range:

$130,000 - $200,000 annual salary (commensurate with directly applicable experience)

Vice President of Finance , you will direct and oversee all financial activities of the organization.

What Our VP of Finance Does:

Engage as a Business Partner: serve as a financial business partner for CEO and other members of the senior leadership team; drive all facets of financial strategy, including accounting, financial planning/analyzing, and tax policy; develop the needed forecasting, analytics, and modeling in order to help determine direction for the future; prepares and present reports for board meetings

Analyze and Evaluate: assess financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts; evaluate financial statements to determine progress and status in adhering to budget and profit objectives; revise plans in accordance with current conditions

Direct and Advise: direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, audits, and tax return; provide insight and recommendations on short-and-long-term growth plans for the organization; provide advisement on financial aspects of new contracts, initiatives, and partnerships

Lead and Supervise: provide leadership and supervision to the Finance and Accounting teams of The Cason Group, including managing escalated issues, holding regular individual and team meetings, and conducting employee performance reviews

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred; CPA preferred

A minimum of six years of direct experience in financial management with a proven track record of building and using financial models for budgeting and forecasting

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Must be an energetic, forward-thinking individual with high ethical standards and appropriate professional image

Must possess the ability to look at past data and current trends to predict performance
