Job Title: Vice President of Finance / Director of Finance

Job Summary:

As the Vice President of Finance / Director of Finance at ARK Products, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for hands-on execution of all financial aspects of the company. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic financial management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving financial performance, managing financial risk, and providing strategic guidance to support business growth and expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Provide insightful analysis and interpretation of financial results to the executive team and board of directors.

Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the executive team, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.

Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term growth initiatives.

Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements as well as industry standards related to financial reporting and disclosure.

Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial interests.

Implement effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.

Cash Flow Management:

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic investments.

Optimize cash management processes and treasury functions to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Strategic Financial Planning:

Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the executive team, contributing to the development and execution of business strategies and growth initiatives.

Evaluate financial implications of business decisions and investment opportunities, recommending courses of action to enhance shareholder value.

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Provide mentorship and guidance to finance team members, supporting their professional development and growth.

Oversee HR and IT functions, budgets, processes, and personnel.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as Vice President of Finance or Director of Finance, preferably within the consumer products, ecommerce, or manufacturing sectors.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong track record of financial management and strategic planning.

Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
