Thomas More University, 333 Thomas More Parkway, Crestview Hills, KY 41017Basic Purpose:The Associate Director for Dual Credit and Transfer Partnerships is a full-time, 12-month position. The Associate Director reports to the Dean of Admissions.The Associate Director provides leadership and coordination for the development, enrollment, and budget of the high school dual credit program to meet enrollment and tuition revenue objectives. The position also provides for the leadership and organization of a transfer pathways program.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Direct aspects of the dual credit program and transfer partnerships;Coordinate the creation, implementation and monitoring of Dual Credit policies and procedures;Coordinate the creation, implementation and monitoring of Transfer partnership and pathway agreements with regional and state community colleges;Collaborate with the Dean and Associate Directors of Admissions, and the University to set and achieve dual credit and transfer goals;Collect and analyze data to report to stakeholders and to make informed decisions;Forge and maintain partnerships with high schools, community colleges, and Thomas More University departments;Publicize and promote the dual credit program;Maintain relevant publications, including the university catalog, websites, brochures, and orientation materials;Build and initiate training and development opportunities for dual credit faculty and connect high school teachers with their academic liaisons;Build and initiate campus engagement opportunities for dual credit and transfer students;Provide insight and support during the creation of domestic and international articulation agreements;Stay current on technology used at Thomas More University for student information, budget, web design, admissions, etc.;Represent Thomas More University, dual credit, and transfer programs through presentations and resource fairs for current and future students, parents, and/or faculty and staff;Serve on Thomas More University committees as assigned;Maintain regular meetings with the academic Deans to provide relevant updates on dual credit and transfer programs;Address student and faculty questions and issues related to dual credit and/or transfer programs;Keep current on new trends in dual credit and transfer within Kentucky and nationally;Facilitate student support of dual credit and transfer students;Develop and implement communication plans including weekly announcements, monthly newsletters, social media posts, and more;Establish assessment metrics and conduct annual review of the dual credit program to develop program goals and budget needs in alignment with University and divisional plans;Collaborate with the SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison and College Deans to ensure University compliance with SACSCOC Dual Enrollment Policy, Substantive Change Policy, and related accreditation standards;Other duties as assigned and developed with program expansion.Overview of Transfer Partnerships

TMU will develop partnerships with many community college institutions, resulting in the creation of articulation agreements designed to facilitate seamless student transfers to TMU. This will be done in close collaboration with Admissions, Advising, academic departments across campus, and external partners. Responsibilities to include:Initiating and developing articulation agreements and pathways;Engaging in collaboration and public relations efforts with educational partners;Ensuring consistency in document creation;Securing appropriate signatures for all relevant agreements;Coordinating the annual review of transfer pathways in collaboration with academic departments or schools and major community college partners;Tracking and documenting all formal agreements established for the university;Creation and upkeep of a database for all TMU stakeholders to have access to transfer agreements.Overview of Dual Credit Partnerships

The Dual Credit program partners with regional and state high schools to offer TMU course opportunities for eligible high school students with the aim of increasing overall headcount and enrollment, increasing the number of credentialed high school teachers, and increasing the percentage of students matriculating from dual credit to traditional enrollment at TMU. Essentially, the program functions as a mini university that encompasses responsibilities typically distributed across multiple departments.Admissions

– Recruiting and processing and assisting with matriculation efforts. Roster management between the dual credit program and high schools.Advising / Transfer

– Collaborating with new and returning students (and sometimes prospective TMU students) to advise on what credit they’re bringing into the university and what credit they would need to take towards a degree. Check ins with students to ensure student success.Registrar

– Building DC schedule/scheduling courses, registering students for courses, ID verification of each individual student, working with the Registrar to initiate the AD to RE process, troubleshooting issues with registration/prerequisites/seat caps, etc. Notification of students falling below grade requirements.Faculty Development

– Working with departments to onboard faculty, assign faculty liaisons, manage faculty questions/relay to academic departments, manage faculty development day.Orientation

– Provide orientation opportunities for faculty and students, provide an open house for campus students to prepare for the semester (ID/tours/find classes, etc).Community Relations

– Answering student, faculty, and high school/community questions. Building partnerships with new and prospective high schools/faculty to grow the program. Collaboration with nonprofit/work groups in the region and state to highlight TMDC and advance DC opportunities. Diplomatic resolutions with classroom/partnership/student issues.Financial Aid and Bursar

– Occasional assistance with KHEAA scholarship discrepancies, working with KHEAA to identify eligible Work Ready Scholarship courses.IR

– Reporting on DC program for TMU, CPE, High School Partners, etc.Marketing and Communications

– Website, flyers, presentations, panels, news articles, reoccurring emails, etc.
