OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to negotiate prices effectively.
Responsibilities- Conduct construction site visits to assess project requirements- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for estimating purposes- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project bids- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate costs- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing- Review and negotiate contracts with clients
Requirements- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications- Knowledge of cost control methods and strategies- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
